October 16, 2012  • Henry Crown Fellows Newsletter

Special thanks to Angela Williams and Gina Boswell who hosted the 9th Symphony for a reunion in Chicago Jun 29-Jul 1.  Keith Berwick flew in to moderate and the group spent a fun afternoon watching the Cubs defeat the Astros 4-0.  Plans are already in the works for 2013 in Aspen, CO just following the Aspen Leaders Action Forum (Jul. 29-Aug. 1) AND 2014 in Randi Shade’s hometown of Austin, TX.  Stay tuned for further details.

Toby Coppel writes:  “Thanks to [Aspen Trustee] Anne McNulty, I was very fortunate to be included in a group of fellows from the Aspen Global Leadership Network that met on the fringes of the Aspen Ideas Festival at the beginning July. We discussed our leadership projects in great detail and received expert advice from Aspen Trustees and others on our key challenges. Deema Bibi [MELI I], Brian Trelstad [HCF ‘10], Hildegard Velasquez [CALI II], Amin El-Maghrabi [MELI II], John Crowley [HCF ‘09], Tom McCloskey [HCF Mentor] and many others provided fantastic input into my Moon Valley Enterprises project.”
