Brianna Curran is the program manager for the Leadership Division’s Office of Curriculum and Moderators at the Aspen Institute, working to cultivate the Institute’s extensive Moderator Corps to facilitate dialogue among socially-minded, high-integrity leaders. Brianna graduated with an M.A. from Georgetown University with a degree in Conflict Resolution, focusing on mediation and dialogue facilitation, particularly in humanitarian crisis settings. During her undergraduate career at American University, Brianna spent a semester studying in Rabat, Morocco learning Arabic and volunteering teaching English. With her passion for enhancing women’s involvement in Middle Eastern peace processes, Brianna founded an organization called Half of Humanity, which is dedicated to sending culturally appropriate feminine hygiene products to women in Syrian refugee camps and field hospitals. Brianna has been recognized for her entrepreneurial and humanitarian efforts by the Center for Development and Strategy as one of their “30 Under 30” Leaders in Development and Sustainability.
