Carly Raizon serves as a Program Coordinator for the Aspen Institute Socrates Program, which provides a forum for emerging leaders from various professions to convene and explore contemporary issues through expert moderated dialogue. She provides administrative and programmatic support to the Socrates team. Previously, Carly interned with David Brooks’ “Weave: The Social Fabric Project” where she led community research and outreach for the programs nationwide listening tour.
Carly is a graduate of Tulane University and holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Public Health. While in school she was extremely involved in the New Orleans community teaching emotional-regulatory skills in local elementary schools, volunteering at a local suicide hotline, and working at some of the best restaurants NOLA has to offer. Originally from Maryland, she enjoys reading, yoga, and the outdoors.
