Program Coordinator, Public Programs

Christen Cromer serves as the Program Coordinator for the Aspen Institute Public Programs where he oversees the content and logistics of the Aspen Ideas Festival Scholar Program, and provides administrative and programming support for the Alma and Joseph Gildenhorn Book Series, CityLab: Urban Solutions to Global Challenges and the Institute’s other flagship convenings.

Christen is a graduate of Lewis and Clark College and holds a bachelor’s degree in Rhetoric & Media Studies. He occupied numerous student leadership positions on campus including as a Resident Advisor, Black Student Union Co-President, Admissions Lunch Host, but claims the most valuable as being a co-chair of the 14th Annual Ray Warren Symposium on Race and Ethnic Studies. He has a twin sister, Christina Cromer, and calls San Diego, California home.
