Jillian Scott joined the Aspen Institute in October 2013 as a member of the Aspen Community Programs’ team (ACP) as well as the newly formed, Youth and Engagement Division. As ACP’s program manager, she is primarily responsible for executing the Hurst Student Seminars, the McCloskey Speaker Series, New View Documentaries & Dialogue, the Great Decisions Discussion Series, and other Institute events. Her duties range from event logistics and marketing to donor and scholarship management. As a true believer in Aspen’s mind, body, spirit mantra, when Jillian is not at work, she can be found on the ski mountain, teaching fitness classes, hiking with her Alaskan Malamute, and traveling the world with her husband.
Before joining the Aspen Institute, Jillian did event management and marketing for the Belly Up Aspen and the Wheeler Opera House. She graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance Choreography and a minor in Religious Studies.
