Kate is a Program Associate for the Energy and Environment Program at the Aspen Institute where she facilitates educational and policy dialogues and the preparation and implementation of high-level convenings with a focus on energy policy and mitigating climate change impacts. She also serves as the co-chair for the Aspen Institute Green Team, the sustainability-focused volunteer committee. She comes to the Institute from the University of Maryland, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science & Policy. Through her time with the US Department of Energy, involvement with the Environment, Technology, and Economy Scholars Program and Federal Fellows Program, she refined her interests in energy and environmental policy and sustainability. In her free time, she loves to be outside – walking, hiking, or running.
