Senior Operations Manager, Leadership Division , Weave: The Social Fabric Project

Krystle Starvis serves as Senior Operations Manager for the Office of Operations and Strategic Initiatives of Aspen’s Leadership Division. In addition to leading program development and operations for Weave: The Social Fabric Project, Krystle is responsible for developing, leading and supporting projects and initiatives that utilize an equity lens to strengthen the people, operations, programming and impact of the Leadership Division. Krystle also co-chairs Aspen’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council.

Krystle joined The Aspen Institute after three years managing workforce development and reentry programs in Baltimore City, where she was responsible for the creation and implementation of training and employment initiatives to serve un- and underemployed City residents. In her first year with the Institute, Krystle managed program strategy and operations for a number of program and partner events across the country, engaging more than 6,000 people nationally in Weave’s first year of programming.

The proud Baltimore native holds a M.S. in Human Services Administration from University of Baltimore and a B.S. from Towson University. Krystle continues to serve her hometown as Board Co-Chair for Community Law in Action (CLIA), a leadership development organization for young people.
