Tony Mastria serves as digital communications manager for the Economic Opportunities Program, overseeing EOP’s digital identity, including its webpages, emails, and social media. He also designs visual and print materials and assists with the program’s internal technology.

A self-described policy wonk, Tony has had a wide range of communications experience in the social sector. Prior to joining the Institute, he developed and hosted a podcast about public policy in California. Before that, he served as digital media associate at the Justice Policy Institute, a think tank committed to promoting alternatives to incarceration. He also held communications roles at each of his alma maters. Tony has a Master of Public Administration degree from the Trachtenberg School of Public Policy & Public Administration at the George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from UCLA.
