Zach Moo Young

Zach Moo Young joined the Business & Society Program in October 2019. Zach is devoted to fresh thinking around the role business can play in promoting long-term, inclusive, and sustainable value creation for everyone, and what it might take to get there.

As Program Coordinator, Zach focuses on the Program’s Business Education initiatives, including the Undergraduate Consortium and Ideas Worth Teaching Awards. In this role, he implements and supports programs that work with faculty and administrators to equip future business leaders to create a more sustainable, inclusive society. He is proud to work closely with some of the most thoughtful, courageous, and forward-thinking business educators who are central in challenging conventional business norms and narratives.

Prior to joining the Aspen Institute, Zach held multiple roles with a business to business consulting firm specializing in customer experience and employee engagement. He holds a B.A. in Psychology from Oberlin College and as a Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellow he led research on the relationship between systemic domestic disparities, race, sport, and education, which he continues to lean into as a youth basketball coach.
