Seminars
Aspen Institute seminars help leaders reflect on timeless ideas and values. Through text-based dialogue with expert moderators and accomplished peers, seminar participants enhance their capacities to think more creatively in solving the problems that confront society.
Aspen Executive Leadership Seminars

For almost 70 years, the Aspen Executive Seminar on Leadership, Values, and the Good Society has challenged participants in every field to achieve meaningful leadership growth through a critical examination of their core values. Leaders must act in spaces of constant complexity and ambiguity, bearing the competing responsibilities of honoring their organizations, their employees, their communities, and themselves. This continual tension means that the most difficult leadership decisions we face aren’t usually purely economic or technical; instead our decisions are expressions of values, and it’s important to know where those values originate and how we express them. Developing the self-knowledge and habits of mind necessary for strategic thinking and interpersonal relationships takes time, and it does not happen in absolute solitude or in crowded auditoriums. It does happen in the Aspen Executive Seminar.
